This policy explains what personal information Fitness Check handles and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Fitness Check is run by AI&I Innovations, a South African business. Contact details are on the contact page.

What the estimators do with your numbers

The height, weight, age, heart rate, distance and time you type are worked out inside your browser. They are not sent to our servers and they are not saved. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.

What this website collects

Reading this website needs no account and sets no advertising cookies. It does not run analytics or tracking scripts. Cloudflare, which serves the site, processes standard technical data when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page visited, in order to deliver the site and defend it against abuse.

Advertising on this site

Adverts are placed directly by us. We do not use third-party advertising networks, and adverts do not follow visitors around the web.

Please do not send health records

Do not email or message us medical records, passwords, ID documents or private health files. We do not need them and this site is not the place for them.

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Regulator. Use the contact page to reach us.
